Hunting T-shirt - Pheasant

These pheasants are some strange birds—such a thought crosses my mind when I look through the sights at a winged rooster flying down the line and quickly double my shot with my 12-gauge. Hunting the common pheasant is a part of our hunting folklore. There are regions where small game thrives, but let’s be honest—gone are the days of our grandfathers when pheasants were abundant and a 200-bird tally after a wild rooster hunt was no exception. Today, reaching such numbers is nearly impossible. The photos in my grandfather’s drawer confirm the truth of these words. In the wild post-war years, small game was plentiful. Nowadays, our biggest hunting experiences mostly come from the artificial breeding of pheasant roosters in game farms. Without them, pheasant hunting in some areas might already be a rarity. That is why the pheasant became one of the first motifs of our hunting-themed Bad Badger T-shirts.
